Joelene Edgar is the co-founder of Errand Runners Unlimited, a locally owned company dedicated to helping seniors, families, and busy individuals throughout the East Bay.

Joelene takes a hands-on approach to making sure clients receive dependable, personalized care and support. Whether she’s helping a family navigate care for a loved one, coordinating caregivers, or finding solutions to everyday challenges, she believes in treating every client with kindness, respect, and genuine compassion.

For Joelene, Errand Runners Unlimited is about more than providing services. It’s about building relationships, earning trust, and making life a little easier for the people and families who count on her team.

Both. Errand Runners Unlimited started as an errand service and grew into a licensed, non-medical home care company. Today we provide in-home senior care, 24/7 care, respite care and hospice support across the East Bay, and we still offer errands, cleaning and concierge services.

Errand Runners Unlimited was founded by Joelene Edgar and is locally owned and operated in Walnut Creek, California.

Yes. Home care services are provided through ERU Home Care LLC, a California-licensed Home Care Organization (HCO #074700183). Every caregiver is background-checked and trained.

Our office is at 1212 Broadway Plaza, Suite 2100, Walnut Creek, CA 94596. We serve Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Danville, Pleasant Hill, Concord, Alamo, Orinda, Moraga, San Ramon and nearby East Bay communities. Call (925) 515-6824. We are available 24/7.

Our rates are $50 an hour for visits of 4 or more hours, $55 an hour for 2 to 3 hours, and $60 for a single hour. All clients pay the same rates, whatever level of care is needed. There are no long-term contracts and no hidden fees: mileage is billed at the federal rate, and anything we buy for you is passed through at cost with receipts. Veterans get 15% off.
